For this year’s clean-up dive activity, the 5-star waterpark resort, true to its vow in keeping the natural beauty of Mactan Island as its crown priority, hosted almost a hundred of environmentally dedicated divers from Mactan Island and Metro Cebu.
LLCDRMO Head Andy Berame encouraged Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark, Mactan, Cebu to keep this activity alive that it may serve as inspiration and guide for other resorts to make programs and activities in protecting the environment.

The Earth Day Clean-Up Dive activity is geared to collect trash and other waste items that threaten our delicate underwater marine ecosystem, particularly the coral reefs. This year’s celebration will be dedicated to providing the information and inspiration needed to fundamentally change human attitude and behaviour about plastics and water pollution.
