Top Cebu resort Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark joined the Hanatour International Travel Show (HITS) held from June 4-8, 2017 in Kintec Exhibition Korea.
The four-day event, attended by over 1,000 companies and 100,000 visitors, was a resounding success.
HITS, the biggest travel show in Korea, celebrated its 11th year in 2017. Jpark has been attending the exhibition since 2009 to attract customers and raise brand awareness.
Many of the event participants visited the Jpark Island Resort booth. They gamely joined a dart game and were given giveaways including suite room vouchers for a free stay at the resort.
To affirm its reputation as a family resort, Jpark picked the famous singer Shoo and her cute twins as models. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group SES.
During the exhibition, Jpark Island chairman and president Mr. Justin S. Uy proudly announced that they have started the construction of an additional 267 rooms to increase the number of resort capacity to more than 800 as occupancy rates had increased over time.
The resort also eyes expanding to other beautiful Philippine destinations, including Boracay, Bohol, and Palawan, that are well loved by Koreans and other foreign tourists.
He also added that the resort will soon build a golf course facility that is only 10 minutes away from the resort and in the process of opening a Marina near Jpark Island Resort. This is to support tourism and showcase Cebu’s amazing islands nearby.
The resort invites Koreans and other guests to come and experience incomparable fun experiences at Jpark.
Mr. Uy and his brother, Chief Executive Officer Jason S. Uy, also attended the launching and opening of the resort’s official sales office in Seoul, Korea last June 12.
The office will serve to bring in more business to the resort from the Korean market. The successful launch was also attended by the media and tour industry partners.
